Our experienced veterinarians greatly enjoy working in country practice, and relish the challenge of helping all types of animals.

SMALL ANIMALS: We are proud to provide a friendly, high quality, affordable and personalised veterinary service to local dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, wildlife and other furry / feathered / scaly (!) creatures - we love to be surprised!

PRODUCTION ANIMALS: We have considerable experience in production animal medicine and surgery, especially dairy and beef cattle. We enjoy working with farmers to improve livestock health and welfare, and can assist producers to grow the profitability of their enterprises. We offer on-farm veterinary services to all local livestock producers, including cattle, sheep, pigs, alpacas and goats.

EQUINE SERVICES (existing clients only): We are highly experienced equine clinicians, who are passionate about providing caring and attentive veterinary services for horses, ponies and donkeys, supporting recreational equine pursuits.

Small animals

Services include: vaccinations and preventative health advice and management; parasite control; microchipping; grooming; dental treatment; nutritional advice and sales; medical investigations; euthanasia and cremation services; ophthalmology; diagnostic imaging (x-rays); in-house and external laboratory pathology; and surgical treatments including neutering, soft-tissue surgery, orthopaedics and emergency surgeries.

 
 

Production Animals

Services include: bovine pregnancy testing and foetal aging with ultrasound scanners; obstetrical procedures including calvings, lambings and caesareans; reproductive advice and product supplies; lameness examinations and treatments; mastitis management and treatment; bull fertility testing; downer and sick cows; parasite control; disease prevention advice including vaccine protocols; nutritional advice including trace element management; and full on-farm planned and emergency surgical procedures.

Equine Services

Services include:  dental treatment such as routine floating, extraction, and diagnostic imaging; medical investigations; lameness examinations including digital radiography; ophthalmology; parasite control and product supplies; surgical procedures; colt castrations; and foalings.
